1. Atherton Farmers’ Market- Barbara Conrad has organized an open poetry reading and music at Atherton Farmers Market Saturday 9:30-11:30. Thanks Larry Sorkin! Tanja Bechtler, Richard Taylor and all poets.

2. Poetry and Collage Workshop by two of our region’s best poets — Karon Luddy and Dannye Romine Powell.

3. Several individuals reading all over the place — Gail Peck at the beach, John Amen on an airplane between Char and LAX, Maureen Ryan Griffin at a workshop she’s giving at a Recreation Department Open House, Gilda Syverson at a wedding in Pa.; Annie Maier is hoping to put together a visual anthology of the Charlotte events

4. SLAM POETRY CHARLOTTE – will announce and honor 100 Thousand Poets for Change at their regularly scheduled monthly events (Speak Up Youth Slam and Open Mic)

  1. I will be performing in Charlotte NC for the Festival in the Park at 3:40 PM and would like to be part of this event. Coincidentally I will be selling my kosher style pickles and fresh salsas at Atherton Mills Farmers Market during the scheduled event that is to be held there. This is a good project and I support it wholeheartedly. Support this program with your attendance.
