The Ithaca reading will take place at Buffalo St. Books, from 5-7 pm. We’ve got a nice lineup of area poets, including Gail Holst-Warhaft, Tompkins County Poet Laureate, coming together in celebration and defense of our watershed.

The featured readers will be followed by an open mike. Come say your piece! If you’re shy, feel free to say it on a sign: haiku or slogan. We’ll have photographers on hand to capture images of citizens with something to say about fracking (just keep it clean — kids will be present — even though Halliburton et al won’t be keeping our watershed clean, if we let them have their way!).
