Representing Pittsburgh for the 100,000 Poets for Change event on Sept. 24, 2011, at Hemingway’s, 3911 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213 –
The poets Luqmon Abdus-Salaam, Kristofer Collins, Jimmy Cvetic, Vanessa German, Nancy Krygowski, Christiane Leach, Phat ManDee, Christina Springer, Don Wentworth, and Bob Ziller. Besides these 10 poets, there will be an open mic, with one poem per poet. The reading will be from 8 – 10 p.m., with each scheduled poet reading for 10 minutes, followed by the open mic readers.
Paris calling Pittsburgh, Great, 2 readings in the Burgh. I’m (East Liberty native) coordinating our Paris readings, which will include me performing jazzpoetry. Many Pittsburghers have contacted me about where to attend in Pgh. I’ll refer them to Cahtham College and Hemingways. Tout vas bien!
