Wonderful! i just got started but TY to anyone who visits; i will have events / ideas / photos / videos listed just as soon as i finish my 8th book of poetry and send it off; pack my 3 bedroom apt and move *to* Tuscaloosa, by Aug.8 . . . all the while, thinking / writing / being “poetry for change” !

IT IS ON!!!!! On Sat. Sept. 24, we are having an Open MIC event here on the beautiful campus at Stillman (“Go Tigers!”):
– 7-9 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 24, 2011
– Stillman / Stinson Auditorium
– Featuring Performance & Visual Artists
– Theme / Focus: 100 Thousand Poets (& Other Artists) for Change — Environmental, social & political
– Free & Open to Public
– Sign-up may be required

I do hope this happens. Where do you plan to host the event? Would the Green Bar consider hosting it, perhaps?
