  1. We are on board with this event and plan on making it as big as the city and the U of Lethbridge radio station will allow us to make it …. We are the MOST VOCAL Poets Society and I am the host of “NOT YOUR MOTHER’S POETRY” on http://www.ckxu.com

  2. Just heard about this through a group I’m with in Edmonton, The Stroll of Poets – even though I’m at present touring southern Italy – think it’s a great idea and long past due.

I’m signed on to take part with the Stroll but will be watching carefully to see what the rest of you are up to – esp. Canada, but also the rest of the world (am amazed to see just how much of the world is already on board!).

Good on you for getting behind (in front?) of this so quickly.

Good luck with whatever you do – please keep in touch. Thanks.

  3. The line-up begins to grow ….. both old and young, traditional and spoken word artistry, ..it is all happening …. I invite everyone no matter where on the planet to share their verse and voice … if you wish to do it through my show which will be archived along with all the other events, contact me here

  4. Going to air very shortly with a mixture of audiotracks from across the planet and some live voices at the station delivering poems for change …… hope you enjoy the tossed salad of spoken word we will provide to your listening ears ….. may you and the rest of the participants in 100 thousand poets for change keep the spirit of this event going …… remember that change will require communication between all parties …. show respect, listen to other’s viewpoints and be prepared to have your own opinions challenged … that is what this event is all about …. change will require effort on all sides
