  1. 100,000 Poets for Change/Eugene is on for Saturday 9/24 5pm-7pmish at Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette Street. Please come if you are a local poet who cares about social change, and want to share a brief reading about it. Please share this link with friends who are not writers, but who care about literature and social change, and want to spend some time thinking about it in the company of others.

What will we be doing? What writers do in public: read from their work. On this occasion, about matters where social and cultural change matter. Participants may read their own pertinent work, or read a favorite piece or passage. As brief as they like, but not more than 5 minutes a person .

There will be a sign-up sheet at Tsunami after 4pm on Saturday. That’s also a good time to show up to help set up chairs around the stage, if you can do so.

Contact Robert Hill Long at rohilong@gmail.com if you’d like to help with the event.
